Todays lesson was interesting.
In the morning we created a blog. I think blogging is a useful tool for teachers to share their thoughts with class students, look for lesson plans, resources, to stay up to date with new posts related to teaching and learning and to keep students focused and on task. I think blogging would be a useful tool to use with my Level 3 Health and Social Care class when i teach. This would enable the students to share their thoughts on useful topics related to the course, to communicate with other class students, tutors. It would help them with tasks, assignments, improve their communication and writing skills and keep them up to date. I think each student learns differently, so blogging may be a helpful way to learn, it is accessible and engaging.
In todays lesson, we also worked in groups and looked into the different schemes of work and what it should include. We also compared them and made comments. I think this would definitely help us for our coming assignments and give us an idea of how a scheme of work looks like and works.
The E D I workshop was a good way to end the college day. By reading the handout and making notes in class will definitely help me to apply my knowledge to practice, and meet the needs of students by making them feel valued and providing them with a safe learning environment.
Well done, Abida, this is a really good start to your blogging. You're definitely sharing the Blogger of the week with Beth!
